On the 14th of September, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana together with the Global Shea Alliance organised a virtual roundtable discussion to define and discuss the project expectations of German buyers and counterparts on local suppliers that are involved in the shea value chain. This discussion was a major activity as it kickstarts the Supply Chain Due Diligence Project.
The Supply Chain Due Diligent Project is focused on sensitization and training on the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act to businesses, cooperatives, and farmers within the shea value chain that might be affected by the Act.
The round table had notable companies sharing their ideas and expectations they had towards this project and their suppliers.
